Tidy Donut

1. I did a little backcombing with the hair above my clip and a bit in the front.
2. I put all the hair in a ponytail, added my headband and separated the ponytail into 4 pieces.
3. I made large finger curls with the 4 strands-Top, Side, Side, Bottom. They are pinned with the rolled part under and facing 'out'. To secure them to my head, I used a claw clip on one side and a large bobby pin on the other. With the bobby pin, I had the bottom part against the scalp and the rest goes flat over the inside of the loop.
4. After making the 'donut' add extra bobby pins to make the shape even.
*Voila*

  1. Whenver I do that hair style, I have to use like 7 strands cause my hair is so thick. It is a fun hair style though, but gives me a headache after a while.

  2. Very cute! I did a donut the other day and was so proud! I wanted to take a pic but was too lazy and tired. After a few days, my hair "gets thicker" and "rougher." So, it was curly/wavy and I put it in a sort of high ponytail and then folded my hair under like I was going to do the half-donut, like when you pull all but half through the pony-tail and then pin it under, but I spread it all around in a perfect circle! I added a few bobby pins and it stayed pretty well all day long. I was highly impressed. :P And I didn't even have a part! I did add a white headband though.
